Perhaps one of the most talked about topics today is the environment and the affect human beings are having on our earth. The Bishops of England and Wales in conjunction with CaFE have produced a 45 minute DVD that explores the themes of Laudato Si, Pope Francis' encyclical letter on the connection among faith, environmental and social issues. On the DVD various Christians describe how they have responded to the global environmental challenges in their daily lives, based on their faith convictions as well as their environmental concerns.
The event will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and we will view the DVD and then discuss its contents and the practical implications for our parish, family and wider community.
