The Sacramental Programme for children preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion; it is a shared programme between parish, school and home. Catechists and teachers are important in conveying to our children the great mystery which is God’s love for us in Jesus. The children themselves are encouraged to explore all the dimensions of their faith journey through images, stories and their own life experience. Parents and carers can similarly revisit their own faith story renewing their commitment to the community of the Church.
Parents can register their children towards the end of Year Three; the programme runs from September to July in Year Four meeting about once a month. Details can be obtained from our schools or from Fr John.
