A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Just a brief note today
‘We’ are being inspected today to test our preparedness for opening for private prayer. I think most things are ready. I’m just waiting for the delivery of one or two items including one of the new-fangled temperature gauges.
I’ll let you know as soon as I know anything.
In the midst of so much anger and violence on the streets and all the confusion in the lives of ordinary people it’s sometimes difficult for us to make any sense of things. A continuing acknowledgement of our need for the grace of humility might help.
And so….  From the Desert Fathers
One of the brethren had sinned, and the priest told him to leave the community. So then, Abbot Bessarion got up and walked out with him, saying: I too am a sinner!
We continue to pray for those who are sick especially
Adela, Winnie, Sylvia, Joe, Susan, Irene, Audrey, Janet and Paddy

And for those who have died especially

Fr Peter, Michael, Roy, Alf, Malcolm, Elsie, Matthew, Anne, Stella, Chris, Kenneth, Carol Ann, Ingeburg, Winnie, Patricia, Eileen, Maureen, Joan, Frank, Robert, Lynda, Cecilia, Lourdes, Dale, John, Eileen, Michael, Graham, Maria, Andrew, Gladys, Ellen, Patrick, Pauline, Michael, Alice, Gordon, Mary William, Lynn, Elsie, Tom, Richard and Dennis

St Joseph, pray for us
Every Blessing
Fr John
