Celebrating the Seder

Posted on: 18/04/2019

On Tuesday 16th April we were blessed to have the company of Sr Theresa Brittain and David Arnold from the Council of Christian & Jews to share with us their special insights and experience of the Jewish Seder meal.

The Passover Seder is a Jewish ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover. It is conducted throughout the world on the evening of the 14th day of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar. It was a good opportunity for us to reflect on some of Christianity’s unique origins in the Jewish faith and to remember the great sacrifice of Christ which brings us our freedom.
