What is a Diocesan Synod?

Diocesan Synod - Big Listen Closing This Week

Over the past few months, parishes, schools, groups, and individuals have been coming together to discern the future of our diocese through the Big Listen stage of our diocesan synod. This key phase is critical in identifying priority themes to help us become the Church God is calling us to be. To ensure all voices are heard, we're seeking to engage with as many people as possible. To get involved, please submit your response online this week on: https://dioceseofsalford.org.uk/faith/synod/

The purpose of the Synod is: To enable true collaboration between the clergy and laity at diocesan and parish level by truly listening to each other; and to discern what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church in Salford at this next stage of our journey.
