Saturday 7th September was the second of our Holy Trinity parish outings. This time it was a day trip to Llandudno.
leaving at 9.45am we arrived in Llandudno at 11.35am when the weather was rather overcast and soon after leaving the coach it began to rain- we feared the worst! However it soon cleared up and the sun came out - blue skies and beautiful sunshine !!
Time for a pleasant stroll down the front and along the pier or a ride around the town on the little train. Some individuals even made the climb up the " Orme "!!!
After having something to eat it was time to head back to the coach for the journey home.
A lovely day which was enjoyed by all.

As we saw yesterday, Cafod’s Harvest Fast Day is coming up and I know they are depending on support from parishes especially in these times of the pandemic which has hit countries across the world far more so than ours.

Today is the Feast of St Matthew for whom I have a special affection being the title of my old parish where I grew up and from which I was ordained.
