Statement of places of worship

Posted on: 25/11/2020

Dear Friends

Good morning
Today I am attaching a statement from Bishop John regarding the opening of churches during this latest phase of the pandemic.
It pulls no punches and recognises the great work that our volunteer stewards have been doing one these last few months.
Please write to our MPs and encourage them to acknowledge the tremendous importance that places of worship have played throughout these times and the need for that to continue during he cold, dark months when so much else in terms of community support is not available.
Thank you
St Joseph, pray for us
Every blessing
Fr John
