Parish trip to Llandudno

Saturday 7th September was the second of our Holy Trinity parish outings. This time it was a day trip to Llandudno. leaving at 9.45am we arrived in Llandudno at 11.35am when the weather was rather overcast and soon after leaving the coach it began to rain- we feared the worst !

Manchester Ship Canal Trip

On Wednesday, July 31st , an adventurous group from the parish set out by coach to Salford to board the Royal Iris to take us on the Manchester ship canal to Liverpool. Once boarded, and after the late arrival of the pilot, we left Mode Wheel Locks in torrential rain!!

Celebrating the first anniversary of Holy Trinity Worsley parish

To prepare for the first anniversary of our parish, Holy Trinity, Worsley, 26 parishioners from our 3 churches, Our Lady/Lancashire Martyrs, St. Edmund's and Christ the King, and 2 parishioners of St. Charles, Swinton met over the course of 3 days to learn the art of flower arranging.

Manchester and Salford Whit Walks

The recently revived walks took place on Monday, May 27th. A contingent of about a dozen parishioners of Holy Trinity parish met in the precincts of Manchester Cathedral around 9-30am, awaiting the start of the procession which would go from the cathedral, along Deansgate to Peter Street and left into Albert Square, in front of the Town Hall.

A family fun quiz night

On Friday, May 17th the parish held a “Multi-media” Quiz Night in Our Lady and the Lancashire Martyrs’ church hall. Multi-media? – there were TV clips, film clips, ”Catchphrase” pictures to figure out and general knowledge questions, with a children’s round to complete an evening of family entertainment.
