We have received Bishop John’s formal report on his Parish Visitation. He enjoyed visiting all the communities, plus some of the sick and housebound, the convent, the hospice and our two primary schools.

A splendid musical evening at St Edmund’s church provided by singer songwriters Sheedy Frost and supported by Helen Hall on trumpet, guitarist Steve Robinson, percussionist Tony Walsh and Irish fiddle player Peter Morgan.

Formal opening and blessing of the newly created dementia friendly garden at the rear of Christ the King by Bishop John in the presence of Fr John and around thirty parishioners across all age ranges.
